I just wanted to make a little official announcement that Best Web Directory has got a new editor.
Ali Khalid is one of my old friends and I happen to know him from about five years now. He has recently graduated as an Engineer from GIKI (one of the top institute in Pak).
He has taken the charge to improve the quality of our directory by improving our review process. You are about to see some changes and I hope you will be even more happy with our service.
So from today, Ali is officially a part of Best Web Directory.

Dear Users
It’s a pleasure to announce a much awaited update of Best Web Directory. It’s been a little over 4 months we started Best Web Directory and since than we are trying to improve it with every passing day. Even though a custom made template is not important to get better ranking in search engine, it surely helps to have a better online presence. So we decided to give our users a better experience.
The new template is nicely done by a very good friend Asim from FuturisticArtists. Asim has done some pretty nice work for a lot of directories. You can see some big names in his portfolio. Keep it Up Asim.
New template is not the only update. We have decided to introduce “Terms of Use” and to improve our Submission Guidelines. If you have already submitted your site to BWD, please make sure that you have read TOU for once and agree to it. This “Terms of Use” is effective immediately and all links submitted before must follow it (If you have any query, feel free to contact us or leave a comment here).
In the meantime, we were also trying to improve our review process and to make our directory a better resource. We are going to introduce an innovative concept (hopefully tomorrow) that is surely going to change how people perceive web directories. Stay tuned for the major change.

It’s a pleasure to announce the opening of “Best Web Directory”. The Directory is brand new and I am putting all my efforts to make it truly one of the Best Directories. I would be working on making it search engine friendly directory so that it wouldn’t just be getting higher PR but also bring you some hits. Link building for this site is already on its way.
